The relationship with my e-reader could be compared to a toxic straight couple. On one hand I am attached enough to it, liking its small size and practicality. On the other hand, I can't help but get frustrated at every little glitch as well as missing the feeling of a physical book in my hands

ICE in German usually refers to a kind of fast train which connects major cities with one another so sometimes when I stumble on ppl talking about the American ICE (fuck them, they're essentially the SS) I sometimes think "what are those blasted morons at the train company up to again?!'

Though this perceived flaw would have made some insecure, Luna thought that it didn't harm the Earthmother's beauty, her sweet benevolent expression or the serene smile she graced her faithful with. In one hand, she held a scythe to announce the harvest, in the other a sword to defend her children.
Luna leaned closer to the statue. Though the Eartmother was portrayed differently. Most artists and loremasters agreed on a full figure for her, symbolic of the bountiful nature and harvests of Arrindore. Malvina, who had carved this particular work, had indicated a slight double chin on the Goddess

The current geopolitical state reminds me of the time when you have that one utter asswipe in your class who terrorised everybody and disrupted the class so much every day became a nightmare. Yet the teacher maintains a sort of resigned attitude telling said pupil: "But you can't do that!"

So French used to be a court language in Russia. As such, it was quite fancy to not trill your 'r' as you would were you speaking in Russian. For the translation to essentially use the owo uwu kawaii pronunciation was unexpected yet highly hilarious

I belong to the German minority which lived in Russia/Soviet Union for many centuries. It can be both delightful and somewhat lonesome as you never really fit in 100% with either culture. There's this sense of feeling foreign and having no firm sense of cultural roots and both countries reject you

*nature doc voice* here we see a very curious copper kitty! You can tell their age by how oxidised their body is and while they don't always have access to rhe braincell, copper kitties make for loving companions prone to mischief
Lowkey this is hilarious though

How have i survived this long?

crying, prayers, self deprecating jokes and vivid dissociation
You mean to tell me that there are people without stress headaches, frequent back pain, episodes of depression making it hard to lift a toothbrush, intrusive painful thoughts, frequent tummy pain, anxiety or occasional night terrors making you feel like you're dying in your sleep? Sounds like a scam

Fairytales about the witch, baba yaga, are pretty wild tbh. Not only does she live in a hut which has chicken legs, but the fence is made out of human bones, there's teeth for the lock and skulls as decor (the eyes will function like lanterns). Baba Yaga loved Halloween/Goth before that was a thing

Btw my little intergalactic space convenience store currently sells a marsian tomato soup/grilled moon cheese sammich duo! We also do vegan alternatives for humans or species unable to process milk. We only get our moon cheese from happy moon cows!
