it truly does suck that dk64 killed the collectathon genre
if it hadn't maybe rare would have made a second banjo collectathon on the n64 and maybe would've even made a third on the gba 😔 but alas the genre died in 1999 before they ever got a chance to make a second banjo game

every UK video game in the 80s and 90s was made by a guy named like "lord wensleydale" or two guys named "the chippy twins" and was about an egg with no special abilities going on an adventure and dying immediately. it was ported to the super nintendo where everyone hated it
