Negative customer feedback is good.

Negative feedback is negative, sure, but the fact that they cared enough to tell you is a great sign.

If they didn't care, if they didn't find other things valuable and desirable, they would just cancel.

These guys work so hard
Our sports scoreboards now have a "scorekeeper" mode. Share this with the person keeping score, and they will be able to change the scores but nothing else!

I've had to learn some painful lessons over the past few months, especially around positioning and landing page copy.

For instance: changing ONE word in my H1 reduces signups by almost 50%. 🤯

Content rots. You change your UI, features, labels, pricing --> your content is no longer up to date. And it gets worse over time.

It takes me a lot of ongoing effort to fix this. One thing that helps is having all my content (esp blog posts) stored as markdown in the main repo.

This is definitely a first. A customer wants to know when I'm going to deploy the feature I'm building, so he can include the date in the book he's publishing! 🤡
