We urgently need to confront the fact that there is no objective federal law enforcement anymore. It’s clear that the DOJ and FBI are not going to prosecute anyone friendly to the administration for law breaking, so state governments are going to have to get creative and fill in the blanks.
Trump’s DC US Attorney says that “Any threats, confrontations, or other actions in any way that impacts” what Elon Musk’s people are doing will be investigated by his office since that “may break numerous laws.”
