Damn, so the first five months of the season don't count, folks. If they're the better team, then they should just win the series, no problem.
If MLB still had a proper postseason, the 2025 Tigers would have been laughed into oblivion for blowing a 15.5-game lead. Instead they immediately get a chance to undo 2.5 months of collapsing by winning two games.

Traveling for work and stopped at Walmart for some toiletries and they had two Nintendo Switch 2s just sitting there, so guess I own that system now. Just need to find some games now.

I think the Tigers are like 2-5 lifetime when I see them on the road, but feels good to see them get out of the bases loaded (mostly) unharmed.
