Conservatives rage that Democrats didn’t stand for the cancer-stricken child Trump exploited—but they ignore his cuts to cancer research. Pure performative outrage.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

In “Way of the Kings” there’s a cursed king who doesn’t know whether he will wake up a genius or an idiot each morning.

That’s how I am now with anger. Today I am very angry.

Well children, this is no longer the Washington Post that brought you Watergate.

What a sell out, but then consider the source: Jeff Bezos

The Washington Post's Opinion Section editor David Shipley resigned after owner Jeff Bezos mandated the section prioritize two topics, personal liberties and free markets, and not publish dissenting views in those areas.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

Funny how those in right-wing media spun endless conspiracy webs about Biden being “compromised” over Hunter’s business deals, yet Elon Musk — swimming in foreign ties, gov't contracts, and so much more — gets a free pass. Did they all suddenly run out of red string?

I feel this with every fibre of my being (w/o walking a dog..)
The cognitive dissonance of getting up every morning and making coffee and walking the dog and going to meetings and answering emails and wondering what to make for dinner while there is a real live actual coup d’etat happening is BONKERS

Indeed…
So y'all gave him $300,000,000 for a party you can't come to, then gave him $70,000,000,000 for a coin you can't spend, because a carton of eggs cost $1 more than it used to.

Y'all are fucking idiots.
