It’s important to know that a lot of productive activity is happening in person and offline, too.

Not all of it can be broadcast online, but we’ve had hundreds of people showing up to our trainings, mobilizations, and more.

Keep going. Tyranny is eroded by a sea of small acts. Everything matters.

Booking flights today too way too much effort. My brain hurts. And why does AA love those 35-40 min layover so much?
It's also super weird to be planning any future things at the moment...but here we are.

With alt-text. The Parable of the Talents is a novel by Octavia Butler. It was published in 1998, a sequel to The Parable of the Sower (1993.) Both were award winning books.

In an update...my doctor passed away last week and I now have a new one. To those counting, this is the FOURTH doctor of mine who has passed since I moved here. Each of them in their 70s.
My condolences to his family.

Today's doctor was kind, helpful, and quick.
I hate having to steel myself for my Dr. appt tomorrow. It's all to renew my Rx, but that means I have to sit in a room with a man who will patronize me & make me cry.
Once again, he'll mention my weight.
Last time, I'd lost weight because I was taken off steroids & he WALKED INTO THE ROOM DANCING.

$500/mo where we had to board the windows and the cops came often because of the neighbors and their dealing.
Rent was how much when you got your first apartment…

*twirls* Words are written. Edits 1/2 way done.
AND I've been drinking water.

In a week of *gestures toward real world*, I'm counting it as a win.

Apparently this book will not write itself.
I mean...I'm writing my 150th...you'd think I'd know that.

I'm at the point of this book where I know where it needs to go, I have an outline, but feel like I didn't earn the route to get here.
This is why I reread at this point in the book lol. Because usually I've done the work and have just forgotten in deadline brain.

This week is not only release week, but I have huge Dr appt where I know he will yell at me. He always does.
Then next week is deadline week and Team Carrie Ann retreat week.
And if I bury myself in these things maybe I won’t break down with IRL things.
Go team!

I think so many people blocked the other four years because of trauma and I am seriously not sure what I'm going to do these next four.
Today's rant just solidified it once again.

Senator Deb Fischer's husband Bruce treated MVP Kamala Harris like GARBAGE when she extends her hand to him. Deb & Bruce Fischer, like Donald Trump look for the LOOPHOLES: they are among a few Nebraska ranchers whose cattle graze on federal land at prices amounting to a significant federal GIVEAWAY.

Also reminder, Meta spent the last six months of the election cycle hiding all political content creators from the general public. All users were auto-opted into this program.
Tech has walled gardens that they will drop us into then claim they are impartial referees.
