I am passionate about increasing psychological science access. That’s why I wrote a self-help version of the evidence-based #TrIGR therapy I helped develop. I discussed the impetus and evidence base for Transform Your Guilt and Shame and had a fun Q&A session at this year’s #APA convention:

I was fortunate and grateful to have worked at the VA in San Diego for a dozen years with inspiring colleagues who did amazing work each day, and whose friendships I cherish to this day. Like Dr. Christine Rufener, who went on to do more amazing work with Médecins Sans Frontières. 1/2

April is sexual assault awareness and prevention month.

1 in 4 women & 1 in 33 men experience sexual assault at some point in their lifetime.

If you haven’t yet, it is very likely you will. And if not, you at least know a bunch of people who have.

Let’s work together to eradicate it!
