Do I know anyone (or anyone who knows anyone) who has had any joy in enforcement of the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018?

The Equality Advisory Advice Service (EASS) who formally accept breach reports seem to be useless. Pls boost.

Things you can do re #DisabilityBenefits cuts:

1. Write to / visit your MP. If you did this before Kendall’s speech you can do it again if you did before, ditto after impact asst this coming week.
2. Go to or amplify protests. There are ones all across the country today and Wednesday (links below).

Many thanks to BBC Breakfast for giving me the chance to discuss why rumoured huge cuts to disability support would be cruel & counterproductive. The system urgently needs reform - but these cuts will do nothing but increase hunger & hardship and derail plans to boost employment.

Concerns about UK gov:

Austerity & privatisation of services

Human rights, climate change, education, mental & physical health, housing & welfare

Discrimination & rights of asylum-seekers, children, disabled people, faith communities, LGBTQ people, refugees, Roma & Traveller people, women, unions
The United Nations just called out the UK’s #disability benefits system. PIP & ESA don’t cover basic costs. Disabled people are being pushed into poverty by welfare cuts. The government must fix this and stop treating disabled people as morally suspicious: tinyurl.com/2fxmr3cn
