My comfort in folklore often comes from the fact it ratifies the truths that greed is an evil, tyranny is to be opposed and manners matter. If it legitimises a fear of trespassing against the common good by the rich, it is performing one of its fundamental roles. – #CLNolan #FolkloreThursday
