Who is in charge of Sutcliffe’s comms strategy?
Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe responds to popular local women’s hockey team saying his plan might ruin them by linking them to the LA Dodgers

“Sutcliffe called the PWHL statements to CBC News a negotiating tactic from ‘big powerful American businesspeople … They’re the people who own the LA Dodgers’”

I think it's probably fair to boo Sutcliffe if he attends any Charge games this year
This would be more than just a snub, since Sutcliffe has been twisting himself into a pretzel trying to explain how bulldozing the Civic Centre to make way for luxury condos and building a smaller arena in an adjacent park would not drive down attendance

Which comms strategist thought pitting a library against Landsdowne was a good idea?
The CBC Ottawa Morning Lansdowne interview with the Mayor is wild. He just compared the way we don't require library buildings to turn a profit so we should not expect Lansdowne to make money.

Dude, the whole agreement of the waterfall agreement is to lower risk and increase revenue.

What comes to mind is 'if you're poor you're crazy, but if you're rich you're eccentric'.

Also, lol, at him thinking JD Vance is too close to the pope. The man was denounced by 2 popes in a row within a month - one while on his death bed.
