The realization that I am probably the only person who has photos of Tobin Heath's final career goal celebration (against Angel City) from this angle. I was celebrating my 5th year and 100th game and got to be the Reign team photographer that day.

I might not have the most clean-cut lawn ever. It has weeds, crab grass, and might be overgrown. But what my yard doesn’t have are harmful pesticides and herbicides. Instead I have pretty flowers and clovers. My yard is filled with butterflies and bees during the day and twinkling fireflies at night

Announcing games is a hard job, but there's an across-the-board tendency in NWSL to focus on filling the quiet more than there is on engaging with the game, leading to moments like this.
Given how common it is, it feels like a choice made above announcers' heads.
I love soccer for many reasons but one thing I love most is that there aren’t a million commercial breaks. Games don’t take up 4 hours of my day and it’s a fast-paced game.
