My Vyvanse titration is resting on a month at 50mg. Main side effect is some constipation. Naturally, I decided to try laxative chews, “gentle” they say. They didn’t kick in for like 14hrs, & now I’ve spent all day in the washroom like your dad after a night of Super Bowl Chilli & hot wings.

Nothing says “well, this is my life” like texting your therapist on a Sunday to book more therapy and realizing it’s Thanksgiving in the US and she’s booked so you have to wait until Dec 2 🙃 - (I work in HC in my small town so I do virtual to avoid the awkwardness locally)

I just read something that says it’s okay to listen to the music you loved as a teen because it’s a comfort and you’ll never really love any music as much as you love that music. I’m going to run this by my therapist Monday, but I’m leaning towards this online therapist being right.

Getting diagnosed with ADHD at 41 and getting put on Vyvanse is wild. It’s like “hey wait, so not everyone listens to music while typing & talking on the phone at the same time?” Now I can relax a little and still get work done. Thanks drugs! 💊
