My last two sessions have been hideous and while there was a lot of bcd luck involved I feel like my mindset was off as well. Maybe too impatient. Getting in big pots way ahead (and losing) once in a while, but I was maybe trying to force too much to happen. I don't know.
I don't know what to do with poker. As soon as I decided I was going to start grinding seriously and put in a lot more time, I started totally losing my ass. I started losing every huge pot. I started losing every 3-outer. I don't know what to do, but I feel like I don't know how to win anymore.

Good news: Quitting vaping three weeks ago has improved my cardio so much I went on an hour walk and then a spontaneous jog yesterday.
Bad news: Quitting vaping did not suddenly make my knees not those of a large 44-year-old man who has played too much pickup basketball.

Just realized that Jason Pierce uses the line "I love you like I love the sun[rise] in the morning" on two different songs on Spiritualized's 2001 album Let It Come Down. I don't know what to do with this information, I just noticed it.

woo-hoo, Suburgatory is on Netflix. really great sitcom that went pretty well overlooked during its broadcast. would very much recommend.

as someone who has also been a poker player since the early 2000s, who also came up on the 2+2 forums, and occasionally is called "Nate," getting mistaken for Nate Silver is a bigger concern for me than most
Nate Silver mostly exists just to remind the rest of us to be grateful that we are not Nate Silver
