Flew into DCA on Wednesday at 7 pm on an American Airlines regional flight. And yesterday they set up the recovery zone behind my house in DC. FAA just confirmed that DCA ATC was understaffed, and while no one is sure if this was caused by the hiring freeze, I'm sure it was a factor.
