I'm not big on awards, but I hope it can inspire other OSS contributors to do the (much needed) work.

Learn, be available, write docs, question the process(es), write code, whatever makes the project move one step forward, no matter how small.

Be consistent but take breaks if needed.

That's all 🫡

SIG-Boba is always one of my very favorite KubeCon parties. I absolutely love that there’s an event centered around community and connection without alcohol.

Big love to @techwithkunal.com and @capileigh.bsky.social who make it happen. ♥

Re: kyaml, the flux-operator ResourceSet API will probably look pretty bad.

The Multi-line strings look tough to template since the start, first, middle, and end lines are all different...
Helm users will definitely need some helper functions if this format catches on for chart development.

This KEP proposes to add a new output format for kubectl, tentatively called “KYAML” (as in kubectl get -o kyaml ...). This format is a strict subset (aka “dialect”) of standard YAML, and so should...

we've definitely made some naming crimes in the accident of good marketing :))
Honestly, OCI is the only way to do GitOps. I always wished WeaveWorks called it CommitOps, because I think it translates better.

OCI is the piece that handles distribution, commits handle transitions.

Also makes it even viable with a monorepo, which is important to me too.
