Figuring Melanie would be a while, considering her bickering with Thomas, Edward decided to sort his next train out himself. He was arranging his trucks when Evandor arrived, looking worried. He told Edward about how he'd seen a crowd of people outside Ballahoo Tunnels and heard a lot of raised voices. Edward recalled that that was where he'd last seen their new Pacific and his coaches.
Evandor attempted to calm himself down before cautioning Edward on his return journey. Wow, if I had a nickel for every time Gordon took down a diesel in cancelled Thomas media, I’d have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Ngl I find it very hard to believe that the North Western managed with only Henry, Gordon and James working services until Donald and Douglas came along to help with the workload.
Surely there were at least a few engines around that handled the workload? Either temporary or permanent. (1/3)

So for no reason I rewatched BadManoredProductions' video on his he handles genders for vehicles. That immediately got me thinking about my own "system/loopholes" for how I see genders for characters. I just want to briefly explain it because I do have reasons for why characters have other genders.

The growl of Bear's engine has always been something of a sensitive topic for him. One night, he dreamt of a world where he made no noise at all. No one seemed to pay him any mind. More than that, everyone seemed... relieved. As though a huge burden had been taken off their buffers.
Bear awoke to Henry's concerned voice. Once Henry heard Bear's nightmare through, he quickly and thoroughly made sure Bear knew just how much he was appreciated - by Henry as well as everyone else. Murdoch didn't count because he was always that uptight.
