This is true. I’m playing a show with my dear old pals @candidatemusic.bsky.social and I’m not sure I’ve ever played a show at the Green Note, but I like it very much. My favourite show I’ve seen there was lush old Mike Heron from the Incredible String Band. Anyway, come all ye and let us rejoice

Twenty-one years ago, yesterday, recording bits for the album ‘Under The Skylon’ in East End bedrooms (as usual). I don’t think Alex M had any curtains at that point. Must be the brightest recording session ever. This is recording Mountain Snow and Fatal Dose, we would guess.
