If you have family members in the armed services, I'd suggest getting them to get on Signal and do some serious discussion to make sure they're on the right side of history. Help them research what to do when illegal orders come and how to refuse. It still takes a person to pull the trigger.

This is an illegal data breach. They did not have congressional permission, did not meet the security requirements, and they were recoding without a scope of work created by an oversight committee. Illegal because it is not in the executive purview and dangerous to all US citizens and their data.
