Passing along a petition I agree with. We shouldn't give tax breaks to companies with such histories of bad behavior. Anyone who would build large socially and environmentally damaging facilities need to pay enough in local taxes to offset, directly repair, and mitigate their harm.

WooHoo! As of a few minutes ago I finally have a home internet connection. It's slow, but better than the sub-1Mbs connection my phones "hotspot" setting provided. Now I'm up to the speeds of 25 years ago with an ADSL connection, 15Mbs. And it seems much more stable.

Thank you for saying this Professor Carroll! It is so true that Christian Nationalists don't act like Christians/ It's almost like they never read the New Testament.
I wonder whether at some point people who are currently Christian nationalists are going to figure out that Christianity isn’t actually a good fit for their core values - too much empathy, helping the downtrodden, etc - and just become pagan nationalists or something.
