Wallowed in a magnificent double bill (appropriately) of this and the latest ep. on The Reptile, or The Rippertile as it was correctly suggested: my favourite Ripper role. We’re into Hammer’s imperial phase. Wall to wall knockouts. Prince of Darkness is just glorious.
Halloween’s here and this week we’re celebrating in fine style with Troy Howarth as we dig into DRACULA, PRINCE OF DARKNESS (1966)

Just enjoyed a post-Fleming double-bill of this and the Trigger Mortis episode. Now extremely keen to read both and be spirited back to a world when ‘impossible glamour’ meant driving a Saab.

This is a serious treat for film fans. Two highly informed pals taking themselves down several fascinating rabbit holes. Didn’t want it to end. Night Moves reissue looks fantastic and yes, yes, yes to The Medusa Touch novelisation btw.

It’s a key horror moment for me: this photo was in Denis Gifford’s Horror Movies book and was the first film image to scare me to the point of incontinence. For that, I’ll always have a special place in my heart for The Plague of The Zombies.
