We had so much fun meeting students at the UC Respect @ Uni day last week!

We were out staffing the @cantestcbr.bsky.social stall about harm reduction and drug checking in the ACT.

What a pleasure to meet such an engaged cohort of students, we can't wait to come back next year <3

Our amendment to the Road Safety Act is now in effect. Victorian courts have the discretion not to cancel the licence of #medicinalcannabis patients who test ++ for THC while driving.

This is a win for fairness, because patients shouldn't have to choose between their medicine & their mobility.

New in @addictrestheory.bsky.social w. Luke, Katinka, and Jim.

Who’s really keeping steroid consumers safe?

Not healthcare. Not the law.

Peers who cook & distribute steroids aren’t just suppliers—they’re harm reductionists.

The amazing @jencarroll.bsky.social and I have teamed up to help raise urgently-needed, unrestricted funds for harm reduction efforts in Kyiv.

(As you can imagine, doing harm reduction in the midst of an invasion is…a lot.)

The text translates to “harm reduction is love”. ❤️

Awesome to see - thank you PTA <3
Unsurprisingly for such an event, and for this time of the year, MDMA or ecstasy was what predominated.
It's an entactogen, or empathogen, and by way of effect, can act on large groups of people to make them feel closer to each other.
Unfortunately, that can also come at a cost.

The last few months in Australia have seen an unprecedented rise in detections of synthetic opioids, and here in #Canberra a significant increase in overdoses.

It's our mission to reduce harm - so please re-share this #Fentanyl safer using guide, and together we can save lives!
