Time to legalise and regulate drugs to support community health and wellbeing. 💜✊️✊🏿💚
Virtually everyone uses drugs. The so-called 'war on drugs', has conned us all, it's causing so much harm to us all. We need a new drug law that legally regulates ALL drugs - including those drugs being used in the cartoon. We can do better than continue the façade, a phoney rejection of 'drugs'.

Two schools of thought. Nicotine vapes are either:
a) SAFER and help smokers quit or...
b) An EVIL PLOT to keep people addicted
Logically, one of these is right. The other wrong. If (a) is right, these massive changes are good for public health. If (b) is right, public health impact is neutral.

We can't build on dodgy foundations - it has to be condemned and demolished. Rescind the Misuse of Drugs Act!
We need to start again on the foundations of evidence, knowledge and expertise. Informed by human rights and harm reduction to develop drug laws that do no harm.

This will go down in history as punishing people who took a stand and did everything to save their community from harm and deaths, while far-right people will be seen as horrible for trying to get them punished by manipulating the narrative. We stand with DULF as people who use drugs matter! 💜✊️❤️

Stan, appealing to a respected organisation isn’t an argument. If you believe vaping nicotine is unsafe, where’s your evidence? Now ~140 million vaping in dozens of countries starting from ~0 in 2010. Where are deaths? Hospital admissions? Vaping much lower risk than smoking @jgitchell.bsky.social
