Several prosthetics were made with the assistance of Kotetsu. While not perfect at first, the replacements allowed Muichiro the ability to help train during Hashira Training Sessions. Trail and error timing allowed the chance for Genya and Muichiro to focus on their developing relationship and even raise children. With studying the YTZ, Kotetsu managed to change and upgrade the prosthetics into something that would continue to allow Muichiro to return to the Corps as an active Hashira.

Gyomei is the initial turning point in this AU; the first to find sign of continuing demon activity, and the one to go missing after reporting his have to contribute to investigate. Kiriya leads the Corps to act under the presumption Gyomei is dead, even promoting his protege to Hashira in his place.

Kiriya gave Genya the rank of Blood Hashira shortly after the fall of Kibutsuji. While he is unable to partake in helping with Hashira Training lessons as he is still unable to master actual breathing techniques, he makes for an interesting, if not intimidating, sparring partner that much like his own married partner is near impossible to beat. Needless to say, he gives a good glance into fighting a demon, his Consumption abilities quicker and easier to call upon since absorbing the blood of Kokushibo. When Gyomei took in two younger slayers, he kept an eye out for them, even attempting, though awkwardly, to form more familial bonds. This attempt was not easy, but deemed easier than the shaky ground he and Sanamei remain in. When Gyomei was deemed officially missing, he spoke outwardly against Kiriya in claiming him deceased, even verbally bashing on the newly appointed Stone Hashira for accepting his role. While his own sons disagree in the action, Genya still attempts to pull information on what happened to Gyomei from any demon he can get his hands on.

It's him! The boy! Or, well, man now. Tanjiro Kamado has become the Sun Hashira, bringing a massive adaptability advantage back to the Corps. While continuing traditional with not only he and Kanao's children, but offering and attempting to share the Hinokage Kagura with his sisters children as well, Tanjiro continues to preform the ritual dance every year. While not an expert at every breathing style, Tanjiro's adaptability is encouraged and taught during Hashira Training. Tanjiro himself is a busy Hashira, actively seeking out lower corps members in danger over seeking out the Ranked demons. Kiriya knows that Tanjiro will be the first to answer when Kakushi and lower ranking Slayers members send for back up.

Murata wasn't exactly who anyone would have thought would take Giyuu's place when he decided to retire, no one had known he'd been working with him to hone his skills when Shinobu got pregnant. Almost as soon as Giyuu knew, Murata was chosen - almost against his own will - to receive Giyuu's attention in honing. Murata was eligible to be named Hashira two weeks before Shinobu had Chihiro, and took the role graciously to allow Giyuu's retirement. Much like the previous Water Hashira, he doesn't feel he deserves it, but works hard to prove he can every chance he's given.

Fukashi had been taken under Gomei's care when he was a little younger, even almost seeing Genya as an elder brother. While not physically impressive, his skill has earned him the respect of even some Hashira. He seems ignorant of Banri's specific dedication as his following shadow, but is not oblivious to how well they work together. Fukashi is a realist, a harsher in words with blunt truths and spares mercy with sugar coating words, however Banri insists it's the words he doesn't say that are the most important. As of late, he has become particularly agitated after Gyomei going missing and being "encouraged" by Kiriya to step into his place as the official Stone Hashira.

Tsubame Agatsuma
Tsubame was given her name to honor Chuntaro (Ukogi). ‹Sparrows only live like 5 yrs>. She's fairly quiet, very watchful and kind but shy. She moves with grace. Her breathing style is actually derived from Thunder breathing, a fast and adaptable form with swift movements. She has a complicated relationship with her siblings, far more of a loner who clings more with her mother instead.

Kazusa Agatsuma
Kazusa followed in Touma in learning a stylized breathing technique; with his elder brother to teach him he still found himself more outgoing in rapid movements. His ore is melted down into small blades and he works alongside the swordsmith to create his tegaki like weapons. He's insistent to still call his breathing style 'Lightning' despite his changes, causing he and Touma to butt heads more often than not...

Randou Agatsuma
A little more awkward than their siblings and coming in at the youngest, Randou attempts to follow in Zenitsu's footsteps with Thunder Breathing. Not particularly skilled with anything special, they are still able to mimic all forms as well as learn Zenitsu's additional form. They're often the one attempting some form of peace among the four, and gets along well enough with their siblings individually.

Chouka Kocho
Chouka did not come into the world easy. Her parents relationship was strained during pregnancy, and when she came into the world Shinobu nearly left it. The Insect Hashira had to direct her own cesarean and hysterectomy, only allowing pain subsiding medication after being stitched up. Giyuu and Mitsuri tended to Chouka's immediate care; Shinobu didn't ask about if she even survived until several days after the fact. Despite this, Shinobu's protective attachment formed. Eventually. Giyuu remained the more dominant parent figure as he had retired as soon as Murata could become the next Water Hashira and Shinobu refused to do the same. Rumor has it Shinobu did not fully manage to push past postpartum until Chouka was able to start saying words. Regardless, the Insect Hashira raised her daughter to be resilient and clever, even teaching her to use a poisoned blade against demons.

Chihiro Tomioka
Chihiro is a confident young women she certainly didn't inherit from her father. While not Shinobu's biological daughter, she was quickly brought into the Insect Hashira's teachings and care again the moment she showed signs of communication. While the extra complications and concerns about her birth are in the rumor mill of lower or newer slayers tend to be a topic of interest, no words are said near or around the upper ranks. Chihiro is very skilled with her blade, and goes on to use Moon Breathing and bringing the ability back into the Corps.

Akato Tomioka
I have not fully decided if his hair will lean closer to Savito's colors for reasons or more brunet. Fell free to lemme know what ya think. Akato, named for Sabito, is the last kid of Giyuu's. He seems to be 'Giyuu's favorite'; with a calm and bright personality and being more aware of Giyuu's feelings towards ... so much really and in a sense is more gentle with his father for it. As he gets older, Akato finds his skill following Obanai's strict and sharp teaching style and falls into Serpent Breathing. Unlike his sisters, Akato doesn't necessarily idolize Shinobu, in fact he seems very aware of her role - and lackthereof - in his birth and being raised, only calling her Hashira Kocho.

Renju Kamado
Renju is far more laid back in personality when compared to his siblings. He trains under Giyu pre-Final Selection and later under the new Water Hashira Murata. His branch off for Ice seems highly customized to surpring the enemy with fortified movements. Renju tends to get a lot of flack for being lazy or unserious despite his rank and skill.

Sota + Naoko Shinazugawa

Yup. We saved Kanae in this AU but just barely. Recovered, but severely injured, Kanae retires her Hashira status. It isn't long until she and Sanemi marry, and have Sota and Naoko. Why twins? We aren't given ages for the deceased Shinazugawa kids, and I like the headcanon of Teiko and Hiroshi as twins. The pair are teased behind their backs as being clones of their parents made by Shinobu... It doesn't help that their peers face Sato's .... 'Determination' outbursts or how quickly Sanamei took to training him to follow in his footsteps. Sanemi's refusal to retire require a strong Tsukugo. Naoko herself follows where Kanae took off, perfecting a branch of Flower breathing and working alongside Kakushi in the Butterfly Mansion to learn about healing.

Nezuko and Zenitsu's eldest child, Touma. He's pretty, and not oblivious to his names homophonous joke. While Zenitsu worried and did not force training on Touma, he quickly picked up and personalized thunder breathing to Lightning.
