the reason I started doing all this weird stuff was because I knew something was UP with the universe. the perfect distance from the sun to sustain life? the moon is the exact right size and distance from the sun to create perfect eclipses? shady. sus as fuck. only a sucker takes that at face value

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
