Jeremy Clarkson just explained that he didn't buy his farm just to avoid tax, he also bought it for shooting. Not sure "I would also be killing birds for fun" is quite the argument winner he thinks it is.

I went to a stupidly expensive private school. Many of my classmates were the children of farmers who sent their multiple kids to board at some of the most expensive schools in Australia. I think it is time wealthy landowners paid into the public purse in the same way everyone else does.

For 50 years, the median wage of hourly workers stagnated or declined while the stock market and CEO pay skyrocketed.
Is it any wonder why so many feel abandoned by the system? People lose faith, and a demagogue fills the void.
