Politicians are now saying the way to fix democracy is to have less of it. Give all the power to one elected person who can do whatever they want until we try to remove them. Cool. That's not worrying at all.

Thanks @angus.bsky.social for these "stipulations" to consider. IMO there are many good Dems that have run, and will be running. One thing I learned as a #BernieGirl: People will not do what is necessary (register as a Dem) to vote in the primaries so they can have the good choice in the general
So here's a thing. In discussions of people who don't vote in presidential elections because they think the Dems suck, it's taken as a given that the Dems losing is "objectively worse." Which is certainly true for a given election. But.
