Sigh. I sit down to eat lunch in the Potbelly right off Pennsylvania Ave (yay, jury duty) and this photo is over my table. So I can spend lunch ruminating on the now-destroyed colonnade. At least the food is good.

Was very confused this morning walking my dog around my DC neighborhood when I saw a family of tourists — mom, dad, two kids — and they didn’t look terrified. Then again, my dog seemed pretty calm too.
