Sigh. I sit down to eat lunch in the Potbelly right off Pennsylvania Ave (yay, jury duty) and this photo is over my table. So I can spend lunch ruminating on the now-destroyed colonnade. At least the food is good.

Awww. I grew up with a sheltie named Tiki (AKC registered name, “Lady Mai Tiki”) but don’t think I’ve ever heard of another one. We also had Tiki’s son, Corky (“Count Corkscrew of Osceola”). This picture is probably close to 45 years old. Best wishes for your Tiki’s recovery!

And remember, you use stairs in both directions. Use the rail in both directions! I did this going up the stairs in my house. No, a patella should *not* be in two places at the same time. Sigh.
