Know I post a lot on Dementia, but being a caretaker for nine years it gives me the impetus to researchers, post degree students, and people who have someone they love a chance to learn more. It’s stressful for the patient and loved ones to experience the “long goodbye.”

Please donate to the largest, most effective food bank in your area. If there's a smaller, usually church-/community-run, food bank in your neighborhood, ask what is needed and donate that. Try to avoid donating the icky food you wouldn't touch w/ a ten-foot pole. Off-brand Velveeta comes to mind. 🥰
