All of those shorthands and tests ruin people's media literacy. There is an episode of Seinfeld where all women only bicker about shoes. It passes the Bechdel test, and is quite sexist... as long as you don't consider the meta commentary about men writing women.

I’m so glad to know who my new Blippi is once my newest kid is old enough for me to watch shows with.

I’m so glad to know who my new Blippi is once my newest kid is old enough for me to watch shows with.
My kid had an assignment called “I Know A Veteran,” and he called his grandma to ask about his uncle’s tour in Iraq.
He asked, “Why was he in Iraq?” and she said, “We were at war with them back then.” Then he asked, “Who won?” and every adult present started giggling in nervous hysterics.

Remembering this golden classic today. Husband was like, “I don’t know what’s so awful about being told to treat women like humans” and I was like, “He wanted a video game strategy guide, not directions to be a better person.”
Remembering the guy who asked my husband why he had trouble with women, my husband said “Do you want me to he honest?” guy responded “Of course,” my husband said, “You clearly don’t respect them as people,” and the guy said “FUCK YOU” and blocked my husband immediately.

A ghost speaks to me in my own voice, but because my own perception of my voice is warped by the proximity of my inner ear to my vocal cords I think it’s just a ghost that sounds kind of grating and bitchy.

I agree that LLMs probably aren't causing truly novel mental illness in previously mentally-stable people, but the key issue is that a TON of people DO have either active or latent mental illnesses - and it seems near impossible to accurately determine who's really at risk of LLM psychosis
