He is correct.
From suffragists to civil rights marchers to anti-war protestors, Americans have been peacefully petitioning for redress of grievances at the WhiteHouse in Lafayette Park for decades.
It is one of our sacred civic spaces.
It will be a testbed to show if constitutional freedoms no longer persist.

I hope @AlexanderHoward is close with his timeline. All of the past changes happened because of citizens taking to the streets. Relentlessly, and in the face of an intractable government. Civil unrest is imperative to change. There is a high cost. Act before the price becomes worse.

All but the last two have been broken. Putin may not use the nuclear option if he needs workable land. He well may in a fit of spite or to send a message to the rest of Europe to stand down.
This is a violation of point 3 of this summary of the Budapest Memorandum.

Meanwhile in Kyiv.

Son sent me the photo of Victory (still a cat).
Air raid alert,
drones are attacking Kyiv as usual.
That means I will worry again.
Yes, I need to come back home.
Tomorrow I will.

The dignity of this administration is hard to surpass 🙄
🤦🏻‍♂️ Just now at CPAC — Musk awkwardly swings around a chainsaw on stage to symbolize their rampage through the federal government, cutting jobs and programs as they pretend to care about the debt (while paving the way for trillions in tax cuts for the rich)

The oath is to the Constitution. No king, no emperor, no tyrant. No president.
Do not comply in advance. Stand in the way of those who would subvert what the flag represents.
We do not kneel to a would-be king.
Be the friction that slows their progress.

There should be more events like this. There is much to be learned from black service women and men from all eras. Especially in those times of change. Personal wars within wars. These stories shouldn’t be lost. So much to learn. Look at the photo. The smiles.

Share. Put this over all of your social pages.
