I remember well the hatred of the public in word and action towards mostly conscript service members as they stepped off of planes and ships coming home from Vietnam. To many, a war not theirs. The seeds of the same are brewing now. For every “thank you for your service” there are also haters.

The military will not step in of its own. Members of the military will not obey orders. Hatred and fear of the military will lessen the numbers that do. The public is lumping all of us (I am a Vet) together. The hatred and fear can’t be countered comment by comment.

As a USAF veteran and the recipient such humor I say this is fact.

The inability of trump to have any semblance of dignity on the world stage is embarrassing. He has no poker face, a necessary skill in any true negotiation. He mocks an ally like a bully child on a playground. Soon we will have no allies. Later, we will find we need them.

As an American I find wording such as yours disturbing. The demand of our country to say all things are ours, would not have happened without us, grates. The Allied victory does not happen without Europe and Britain’s allies, including us. See? I just flipped that so for example of how it may feel.

I’ve not done that particular call. Deathsantis has no concerns for citizens. Rick Scott has no cares either. Dems gain ground every day however. I need to step up my game. My attention is fractured by new outrages each day.I need to narrow my focus. I’m not alone in that.

They have not known the outrage and the fear that Europe, England, and others have. That we did during WWll. Our memories are short, we don’t read, or read history. I don’t know if our population is capable of rallying for any cause at this point. They will GAF if it reaches our shores. Maybe.

I’m not so sure Putin’s offer was nothing. He stroked Don making him feel like an equal. Some sort of Trump tower thing, something that involved money. They both lie and manipulate. One is far more skilled, playing the long game. Someone once said “he will eat you for lunch.” She was right.
