Being both a psychology and a philosophy student you see the cultural differences between the two disciplines. My psychology tutor says 1st person makes essays read childish or self-important, but I suspect it would have the very same effect if I try to use the 3rd person in philosophy essays…

The Worcester Public Library in Massachusetts announced that people who have lost or damaged a book can bring a picture of a cat this month to one of its branches and get their library cards reactivated. The program, which it calls March Meowness, has generated hundreds of returns.
