This is wild, because I read 15 books this year and felt like I didn’t read enough.
NEW: How many books did you read this year? If it was more than 2, congrats: you read more than the median American.

Read on for way more @today.yougov.com polling from me on America's book-reading habits in 2025. 1/

I was in a theater and I was the only one who laughed - and it was loud.

Since we won’t be paying a GK $1.3 million now I’d certainly think/hope so

He also absolutely refused to ever try his right foot which killed a lot of those attacking runs he made. He’d always take an extra touch or weird cut in to move back onto his left, and proceed to lose it in the process.

@loonybinpodcast.bsky.social since Dan is a sicko, Speel is playing in a UEFA Conference League game right now and it might be his last game before he comes back. He’s made some good saves (it’s in Paramount+ right now) oncealoon.com/2025/12/18/w...

I think the fear in doing that would be a team (say, Everton) getting swiftly punished for pushing/breaking rules while another team (City) piles up charges and everyone solemnly acknowledges maybe they’ll do something someday about this, and nothing happens.

This is what I get for being a Liverpool fan who was pretty neutral on TAA leaving for Real Madrid on a free.

I am a big ol’ hypocrite because I’m furious.
💣🇨🇦 BREAKING: Inter Miami is nearing a deal to sign Canadian int'l GK Dayne St. Clair, per sources.

St. Clair, 28, just was named MLS GK of the Year.

Huge signing for Miami, who just won MLS Cup.

Actively trying not to think less of him for it to be honest. Maybe I’ll cool down but it feels like a pretty dirty, shit move from him *and also* our own FO stepping on a field of rakes.

I dunno Wes, I’m so unreasonably mad right now. No rationality from me right now!
December 17, 2025 at 11:18 PM
Oh I know (interleague rules on frees and all) but I don’t trust that Miami 1) wouldn’t find some way to get him other deals or 2) found some other loophole like they already have.

MLS news: in 2027 Minnesota United will definitely be in a new division with Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City, Cincinnati and Columbus

who knows when this will be officially announced but I got my info from 2 people inside the league today

This is horrible and heartbreaking
Rob Reiner, who directed such beloved Hollywood classics as 'This Is Spinal Tap,' 'Stand by Me' and 'When Harry Met Sally' after starring in the trailblazing sitcom 'All in the Family,' died Sunday along with his wife, Michele, in their Brentwood home. bit.ly/48UWXSi

I got what you mean, capital-A Atheism, or Reddit/New Atheism.

I’m absolutely an atheist but after a stint in those groups I bounced out pretty quick. Secular humanism fits better for me *and* is pro-something.
