As a mathematician and a Doctor Who fan, I adore Christopher H. Bidmead’s work on Doctor Who, which showed how maths and science can be powerful, mysterious and poetic. Castrovalva remains a personal favourite. I wish I had the chance to meet him. RIP

Was trying to search for the "living, bubbling lump of hate" Dalek description earlier. Was so sure it was Remembrance of the Daleks. Then when it wasn't I checked Dalek. Turns out it's from Death to the Daleks! That line is way better than that story deserves.

Bonnie Langford and Ncuti Gatwa were by far the highlights of that episode of Doctor Who, which bodes well given they are two of the people from it who are returning.
