Now experiencing!

Peri-traumatic stress disorder

I woke one day to find I had lived too much of my life in the periphery of myself.

It is too late now to live the past in any other way, but the future is still uncertain, and the comfort of that self beckons.

UnitedHealth uses AI model with 90% error rate to deny care, lawsuit alleges
For the largest health insurer in the US, AI's error rate is like a feature, not a bug.

That time Ed Begley Jr. and Sarah Silverman were guest stars on Star Trek: Voyager.

I have been empty so long I am finally broken.

Everything is falling apart, in the moment. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it through without major detriment to me and my family.

I’d beg, but I don’t think I’d be successful on OnlyFans. 🤷‍♂️

So much on TV is just so much fodder. You’ve seen it once, you’ve seen it a million times.

I’ve been watching season 3 of the original Star Trek. Some of these episodes I haven’t seen since I was a child, but I think there are several episodes among my favorites of the entire series.

Credit cards.

At a certain economic level, you have to have them for emergencies. You have to use them to have good credit.

As the world goes to shit, though, and you no longer have that economic level, you become an indentured servant to the banks.

Change my mind.

Please consider a donation. Just 2 weeks to save these gopher tortoises by buying this lot. Relocation is a terrible option with a significant mortality rate and listlessness because they imprint on their original territory.

Our society is much safer than it was thousands of years ago, but at a trade-off. We have luxuries now - we can advocate for the less fortunate; we can advocate for our freedoms and our advantages.

Yet we still act like savages to others who are fundamentally different.

Trump continues the same tactics as always. He paints himself as a rebel by bucking the RNC debates, and effectively avoids putting himself in a situation he might have to explain himself in.

His fans go wild.
