I’m working on an AS in pre-med. my plan is to become an RN. I was close to finishing a BS in psychology a few years back, I may still pursue that while I wait to get into a nursing program.

My statement is about identity, yes, but in a more psychological sense, not a gender or sexuality sense.
I suspect the mechanisms are similar, though, but my personal struggles don’t evoke the backlash from certain sectors of society as other situations do.
