Penning in nonviolent civilians is a level of resistance that's certainly more their speed.
These DPS officers are the same people who stood by on May 24, 2022 and did nothing while a gunman slaughtered 19 innocent children and 2 teachers at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. Yet here they are, all big and tough, restraining and taking away peaceful protesters at the Texas Statehouse.
