Last week I started work on a template rig as part look development and preprod for our game A Corporate Machine. Got stuck trying to get the mouth as easy to pose as I was imagining it. After a weekend of scratching that itch I think I got it where it should be #blender #godot #gamedev #indiegame

In the prototype, we want to be able to try lots of things. And if a play-test shows something we didn’t plan for (has that ever happened?!) we want to be able to change things quickly, not waste time polishing stuff that belongs in the bin. 2/3

When developing the art-style for A Corporate Machine we’re keeping it out of the prototype. It gives us room to explore the look and feel in a smaller scope, and lets us find a solid pipeline before we go full hog with production. 1/3

As someone who sees hundred of pitches from the other side of this in my publisher life, I would love it if every dev made something like this.

Good summary of how any good argument for neoliberalism will always be erased by the end goal of it. Complete freedom in the market will inevitably lead to liberty for none.
Capitalism always resists change that threatens its inevitable march towards oligarchy. Even the lightest of touches, such as sensible financial regulation, gets immediate and hard pushback.
