Not all heroes wear capes. What a brave and compassionate human being. The war in Sudan has killed 150,000 people and displaced 12 million. This orthopedic surgeon has not fled but continued to provide medical assistance under impossible conditions.

I’ve always been a politically nomadic Jew. But I also understand why some seek refuge in an ideology. I feel betrayed by the left’s virulent antisemitism too, despite not identifying as left-wing myself. But please don’t think the right are a safe harbour. They never have been, they never will be.

It’s not that you need to advocate for Palestine and criticise Israel’s actions any less, it’s that the people of Sudan and Myanmar need you to advocate for them more. No one wants to see suffering people cynically pitted against one another. No one should ask you to do less.

Cuomo is trying to exploit Islamophobia. If Mamdani is too adherent to Islam, he’s more Muslim than American and can’t be trusted. If he’s more casual, he’s not a proper Muslim. Even though I don’t think Mamdani is fit for office, I’d choose him over someone who’d exploit people’s fears any day.

While I can’t support Britain’s nationalist movements, I can appreciate the sense of national pride and disillusionment with the Union that drives it. Well done to Plaid Cymru for this result. Wales is a beautiful country with an incredible history. Make sure you look after them.

It's quite extraordinary to read. This author is pro-Russia, pro-Iran, anti-Ukraine and anti-Israel. Just take a breath. You can be against Israel's actions without going completely mental. It is possible to take balanced view on these things.
