Genuinely, as someone who plays several live service games I always have a checklist that's like
- Ask yourself if you're having fun
- Never have a "forever game", play or read or do other stuff alongside it
- Don't set paid subs to auto-renew
- Think about what you want, not what the game wants

that image was like hours after reset so obviously its not still that high of a position, but it genuinely had been the first i did after being demoted again and its also a new high score for me now so it was just incredibly funny to me

i basically did everything in dream team except 1 puzzle (i assume it was in the castle but just never saw it) and the boss re-fights. most of these were fun to go around and find but some areas were becoming very frustrating to traverse for the 6th time with a single missing bean

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario is immune to bees while talking. He will be pushed around by them, but not be harmed while he's engaged in conversation. Note that he is not simply immune to damage - e.g. he will still die to heat stroke while talking. It is specifically bees.
