We really should’ve known that 2.45pm on a Sunday is not the time to #BigGardenBirdwatch. Our garden is usually so much livelier than this count implies.

First day back in the office since my post-Christmas lurgy. Managed it pretty well until the half-hour walk home up a hill in the rain. Now needing all the sleep and wishing I had some marzipan Ritter Sport for a soothing energy boost.
