The Council has paused changes that would've halved the number of visitor permits available to those living in Residents Parking Zones, after questions by Lib Dem Cllr Nicholas Coombes revealed that over 3,000 people would've been affected by the restriction.

Bristol Labour failed to originally budget for a new ramp, and the Regional Mayor failed to foot the bill once this was revealed.

Now, Sparke Evans Bridge in Brislington is due to open six-months behind schedule.

🎉 Success! The Government has finally listened to our campaign to introduce visitor levy powers in England.

However, it's crucial that the money raised is not kept in the Mayor's coffers. It must be spent in our local communities to make Bristol a better place to visit and live.

Our hospices have been pushed to the brink.

Hundreds of beds lie empty because there is not enough funding or staff. Services across the country have been pared back and 4 in 10 of hospices say they will have to make cuts this year.
