Thanks to the "Big Beautiful Bill" I'm getting a sizable tax refund. I worked a ton of overtime, and BBB added that tax credit. I will be donating PBS, NPR, and other groups because that is where I want my money going. I'm absolutely taking that credit. The less money ICE has, the better.

Day 3 - Worst Final Fantasy. I'm gonna stick to the mainline games I've played, and I don't think it'll surprise many that I'm going with Final Fantasy II. It really comes down to the awkward leveling system and maps. It has some great music and tried to tell a bigger story, but the dungeons suck.

Okay, need to keep up on this. Had mandatory overtime at work. Anyway, Day 2: Favorite Final Fantasy. I think, overall, I'm going to have to go with Final Fantasy IX. It just has so much heart, and Vivi is best black mage ever.

I'm supposed to see my therapist tomorrow, but the current temperature is PAINFUL DEATH and might be even worse tomorrow. Seriously - this is dangerously cold. I know we're not the only ones facing severe weather. Be safe if you do need to go somewhere, but I'm going to stay in.

Found a great new local shop full of geeky 80s and 90s stuff ... games, toys, etc. It's just a short 5 minute drive from where I live. Picked up a couple of classic NES games. I think I will need to stop there regularly.
