NC Court of Appeals gives over 60,000 challenged voters 15 days to prove eligibility
The majority wrote that, even though they have the authority to completely throw out the contested ballots, they decided to instead mandate a cure period for most of the challenged voters.

1. What you see here is clearest illustration why things are so messed up and why it cannot get any better until this asymmetry is addressed.

Put simply: the right-wing has narrative dominance.

The government is staking its entire case to deport Khalil on whether Rubio “personally” thinks the Columbia student protest negotiator would “compromise” US foreign policy.

Am so glad to have been associated with @tupelopress.bsky.social -- it's nice to see organizations doing the right thing.
“If our position means no more NEA grants for Tupelo Press, so be it. To act otherwise would be immoral.

Meanwhile, our heart goes out to the dedicated professional staff at the NEA for having to put up with this crap.”

Thank you @thaisafrank.bsky.social

Letter from Tupelo Press
It is all over the net that the government is restricting the NEA. Tupelo Press wrote a very articulate letter about it. The results are shocking:

Read Sassoon’s Letter to AG Pam Bondi explaining why she is refusing to drop the case against Mayor Eric Adams.

Unfortunately, Pam Bondi is incapable of understanding integrity, principles, laws, oath of office, or even the basic difference between right & wrong.

"dismissing without prejudice and with the express option of again indicting Adams in the future creates obvious ethical problems, by implicitly threatening future prosecution if Adams’s cooperation with enforcing the immigration laws proves unsatisfactory to the Department." A sword of Damocles.

Democrat Ken Jenkins won this special election for county exec over a Trump-endorsed Republican who was bent on deep-sixing the county's sanctuary status and backing the Trump agenda. And he won it big--bigger than expected. Hold onto that as a sign of what Democrats can do when they stick together.
The voters have spoken. They've chosen sane, decent and effective leadership over MAGA rhetoric.
Congrats to Ken Jenkins!
