One moment deep in the winter,
I crack open a jar from the Summer garden.
It's still sunny in there.
The brine tastes as fresh as snoot full of a crashing wave.
The vines scratched my arms when I brushed against the prickly leaves.
Crawling in the shade of the cuke patch.
Making plans.

All of our environmental protections are being rolled back, but at least leftists punished Joe Biden for Israel's actions in Gaza.
Because that is what is most important.
Or have leftists stopped caring about Gaza?

Jon Meachem said something profound on today on Morning Joe;
"The United States government was founded, as Alexander Hamilton has said, 'to see whether deliberation and Reason could take a stand against Force and accident'. And right now it is Reason against Force.

Bondi's actions yesterday was not unprecedented. As a student of history it felt very familiar.
Every dictatorship, every monarchy, every corrupt government acts like that. They have to, because they govern without consent of the people.

In that sense, this is all very boring and normal.

The Republican standard is that if even one person gets hurt by a pardoned criminal, then the President is responsible.
But of course, they don't have principles when it comes to Donald Trump.

I almost never have a meaningful conversation on Blue sky.
Even arguing with Maga idiots on Twitter, I often had conversations that led all kinds of places.
That never happens on Blue sky.
These people are insufferable.

I'm sure all the "Do-something" critics watched the Democrats questioning ICE & CPB heads during the House oversight committee hearing today.

They know so much more about politics and government than the rest of us, they must follow these issues pretty closely.
Or no?
Rep. Delia Ramirez to DHS officials: "I have as much respect for you as I do for the last white men who put on masks to terrorize communities of color. I have no respect for the inheritors of the Klanhood and the slave patrol. Those activities were criminal and so are yours."

We can do this to the statute of limitations on other crimes too.
Such as public corruption, fraud, abuse of power, state sponsored murder.

You know, we could just not repost millions of times every stupid thing Trump says.

I could've never heard about his opinions about the halftime show and still lived a full life.

He's right. It was an attempted coup. Based on completely false grounds for prosecution.
This was a failed coup by the Trump administration against Democratic members of Congress. Everyday Americans on the grand jury stopped it. The 6 targets were right all along—don’t follow illegal orders. Speak truth to power. Because it will prevail.

Old songs that describe "A fool in love" is such a great covert insult
The reason being in love with you is foolish is because you are a terrible person.
Yeah, I'm an idiot, but it's mostly a lack of judgement.

That skier didn't "try out" for the team and he wasn't given his spot to honor him.
He competed and won. He proved that he was the best.
If we stripped him of his spot (for saying he has mixed feelings) he works be replaced with a less capable person.

Maga has really lost the thread here.

Now that newspapers are finally tiptoeing towards covering Lutnick’s depraved links to Epstein, it is plain to see how timid and careful the pieces are. The stunning impact of Lutnick lying about his relationship with child traffickers and trading nannies with the criminal is airbrushed away.

Mark Warner the Democratic senator from Virginia is on this Tulsi gabbard scandal.
He's a really tough Senator. I've been watching him his whole career and when he gets on a scandal he usually blows it open.
Perfect example of a moderate to conservative white man Democrat who does a great job.

Every white liberal and progressive needs to understand that our coalition with Black voters is inviolable.
All our success, past present or future has been only possible with the support of Black voters, organizers and leaders. Often w/o even a seat at the table.
We owe them our support.

No one is saying socialist candidates are bad.

But we are saying that Burlington Jesus, Nina Turner, and David Hogg are shitty people to have in your corner.

We are also saying...

Didn't disrespect the Black voters.
