Californians might easily respond by electing congresspeople who blockade federal aid to Florida, Louisiana, SC, Texas and other hurricane-benighted red states.
Repubs in the Senate & House, just know that once you cross the rubicon of politicizing aid to victims of natural disasters, that is a road that you don’t want to go down. Especially since your states seem to have a lot more of them, & you tend to lose your majorities quickly.

If you think only billionaires can control social media, You are absolutely wrong. Social media is completely dependent on its users. Think about why you do or did use FB, ThreadsTik tok or Twitter. It's because they have enough users. Take away all the "normies" and they all are worthless

Really unnerving day on Threads today—lots of in-your-face celebrating, or at least satisfaction, over the murder of the UnitedHealthcare CEO. I had one “liberal humanist” woman say she had no sympathy for the guy’s teenage kids, because Dad was rich. Is it that bad here? Are we all animals now?
