You are the colours
of flamingo bright shoelace charms
threaded like beads through white trainer laces
on mufti day,
and you remind me of the tap dance shoes on a shelf
I wished for Mum to buy me.

A lot of water has flowed beneath the poetry bridge since we first met at The Edinburgh Festival in 2012. Congratulations on the anniversary.
Can’t believe my book ‘I Don’t Like Poetry’ is 10 years old this year!! Here’s a little piece from the book. Enjoy! www.joshuaseigal.co.uk @bloomsburyed.bsky.social @michaelrosenyes.bsky.social #BookSky #EduSky #poetry #KidLitUK

Brian Moses's poems and his writing on poetry are always a north star that I'm happy to take guidance from. I'm going to rather enjoy putting the advice in his newest post to good use.

I really love Simon Lamb’s retelling of Burns’ classic tale. Vibrant, humorous and superbly illustrated. Even the witches & warlocks have mobile phones that they place in a bowl before their ceilidh disco. Beautifully produced. Perfect read for Burns’ Night @scallywagpress.bsky.social
