Let us remember that the NZ police unlawfully raided the house of journalist Nicky Hager after Hager published a book exposing the malfeasance of Judith Collins. Police had to apologise while Collins is being appointed by Luxon to head the Law Commission. What a joke. www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/3505...

I think Collins is down the scale a bit when it comes to single-handedly destroying a nation’s economic future but it’s nice to see JK and I agree on something…

Canada must be ready for a US civil war, it can’t just let US refugees flood in unvetted, while their humanitarian needs must be met, national security must take priority to prevent any MAGA extremists from slipping through the border. Plans need to be drawn sooner than later.

Thinking about those who have raised the alarm to try to prevent the erosion of our democracy in Aotearoa over the last couple of years:

“As a former Prime Minister of this country, I am concerned that our democracy is being weakened by the methods this Government is using to achieve its goals.”
Lurching towards constitutional impropriety
Opinion: Constitutional law expert and former Prime Minister Geoffrey Palmer takes a deep, concerned look at the risks this Government is taking with hasty law changes

“Over the past ten years New Zealand has averaged 55.9 days annually under a State of Emergency each year, and 66.6 days over the last five. In the 10 years prior to this, New Zealand averaged only 13.4 days per year.”

Quick Q - how does recovery work with a rates cap in place and no govt. support🤔
